Located on the high ground of the 25-acre site, the new church is set into an existing ridge. The two-story structure adjusts to the topography providing grade level access at both levels. Serving as a symbol to the community, the bell tower accommodates the main stair between levels. Simple geometry and compact massing recall rural structures common to the area. The baptismal font, altar, ambo and tabernacle establish liturgically important focal points within the nave and are designed by the architect. Dichroic glass animates natural light at the Nave windows.
