Dedicated in 1874, Luther Place is an excellent example of American Gothic. The most recent modifications are not sympathetic to the original church. Significant plaster damage is a result of roof leaks. Our design for this sacred space respects and heightens one’s awareness of the original church while accommodating new systems unobtrusively. To enhance the sanctuary with an economy of means the renovation is limited to six trades: woodwork, plaster repair and paint, flooring, stained glass repair, electrical (lighting and sound systems) and mechanical.
