The building is situated on a man-made lake with access by pedestrian bridges interconnected to the college campus walkways and circulation paths. Both the Chapel and the Center for Spiritual Life are housed in two parallel structures with bells from the existing college chapel relocated to the 70-foot high tower. Organized on an east-west axis to provide shading, minimize solar gain, and channel storm water from regular afternoon storms, barrel-vaulted roofs articulate the different program uses in a variety of heights and volumes.
