This simple home derives its geometry from indigenous farm sheds and barns. The relaxed shape also reflects the informal attitude the professional couple desired. The modest, 800 square foot initial phase is constructed with wood frame construction and stock windows to reflect the interior volume, views and function. The floor plan accommodates future spaces by growing up the slope in a linear fashion. The interior finishes are also wood with locally milled Walnut floors, Cedar walls and a Pine stair.
