Carmelite Sisters' Heritage Center Under Construction

The Heritage Center honors the Carmelite Sisters’ beloved foundress, Venerable Mary Angeline Teresa, illuminates the mission of this dedicated order of consecrated women and welcomes visitors to their beautiful 88 acre campus; over-looking the Hudson River and Catskill Mountains beyond. The building’s envelop is complete, allowing interior finishes and building systems work to continue on the interior. Kerns Group is working closely with the exhibit designer Callan McMahon to integrate artwork, artifacts, displays, video, text and sculpture into the design to tell Mary Angeline and the Carmelites’ story of their enduring dedication and compassion for the aged and infirm among us.
